I’m telling you, it doesn’t matter how many items of clothing I own, I still have days where I feel like I have nothing to wear. How does that happen? Please tell me I’m not the only one! Well, this Boohoo Plus slogan tee is perfect for those days, not just because it says it all, but because it’s one of the comfy tops that goes great with jeans and a jacket. I’m wearing a size 24, the fit is fine, super stretchy, although I would say it’s a little short. I love a good slogan tee, my other fave was ‘Curves on Fleek‘ which was also a Boohoo Plus number.
I love this outfit because it’s a little edgy, on trend but comfortable. It’s also pretty cheap with the look coming in at under £45.00 (£70.00 if you include the shoes) and it’s all plus size AND it’s all Boohoo. The bomber jacket is really soft and stretchy in a scuba type material, there’s lots of them around at the moment and they are so easy to carry around in summer for when the sun goes in. This is also a 24 and is super stretchy. Ideally I’d need a 26 so I can do it up COMFORTABLY, but, it’s one of those bomber jackets that I’ll never actually NEED to do up. So that’s fine by me.
It’s the first time I’ve seen jeggings on the Boohoo plus section and I did wonder if they would fit, but they were stretchy and the suedette effect made them really comfortable and lovely against the skin. The rips are also in the correct place! woohoo! They are like ankle grazers on me at 5″6 but I kind of like that. Some of my favourite jeans are ankle grazers.
As for the shoes. Lace ups are WINNING for me this summer. These lace up shoes aren’t wide fit but fit perfectly. The lace up thing means it doesn’t matter how wide your feet or ankles are, you can make it work. I love these because they support the ankle and have a little block heel. Theres something slightly edge and a little bit sexy about these shoes I must say. I’ll be wearing them with my ripped jeans and my summer dresses because they’re that versatile.
I guess it’s safe to say Boohoo and doing pretty well in offering fast, affordable plus size fashion. It would be great for them to expand the sizing as there is such a demand for it. I would say to give them a go if you’re in the size 24-28 range because some of the items are super stretchy and oversized. I think this outfit is a winner for summer and I don’t mind having nothing to wear if this is the result of it.
