If you’ve followed me for a while now, you’ll now I’m all about body confidence and people accepting the way they look and being HAPPY with themselves. It’s such a complex subject and one with so many branches to it that I could discuss it for hours. The key think about being ‘OK‘ with yourself is that every ones version of ‘OK‘ is different and it can be really hard for a brand to key in to this concept as they seem to always promote the ‘ideal’ rather than the ‘real’. So this is why I really love the new CrocsCome as you are‘ campaign. Fronted by two of my fave famous faces Drew Barrymore and John Cena, as well as Lau from Super Junior-M and the South Korean singer YOONA. I think the way YOONA explains the campaign is perfect –

What I love about the ‘Come As You Are’ campaign is that it’s an opportunity to inspire people to be comfortable in their own shoes,” said YOONA. “The spirit of the campaign is about overcoming preconceived notions and being comfortable with your true self in all that you do.”

I’m sure we’ll all remember one of the first times we saw a pair of traditional Crocs. A part of me was like.. what are THEY! But as time has gone on I’ve grown to love the simplicity and comfortableness of the Crocs brand and they do so many styles now all with the same theme in mind. This is why as a brand, they really work with the being comfortable in your own shoes campaign. They realise they are a unique brand, with an individual product and they EXCEL in it. Taking their one of a kindness and telling their customers to embrace their own uniqueness. I know it’s all about selling shoes but I bloody love this message!

They have also made this Be Yourselfie Gif generator which is actually a little bit addictive. Simply upload your selfie and choose the option that most fits you as it pops up. It’s like a single version of Mr & Mrs! This is mine –

I love that Crocs have completely owned the persona they have and are embracing individuality. I love their #ComeAsYouAre campaign and that they are promoting a positive message. But can I just make you aware that they do actually have some pretty good footwear too!
