Wiggle wiggle, Wiggle Wiggle. What am I doing? I’m dancing in my seat as I type because I’m excited. Why am I excited? Because it’s Autumn ya’ll! I love this season. It’s full of lush colours, textures and of course a whole new wardrobe! (Or at least bringing out the old one!) Well, as window shopping for autumn wear is currently one of my favourite pass times I was a little excited when I came across the Debenhams Style challenge. Right up my street! I’m doing this blog post in collaboration with my lovely and stunning friend Stephanie from Nerd About Town, who is doing the other half of the style challenge with me!

This is the outfit I have created from 1 of 6 trends that Debenhams are embracing this season. This is the outfit I have styled for myself and is the Pastel Palette. Pastels were all over spring and summer and it’s great that you can choose a few new warmer pieces yet incorporate your current wardrobe. Always a bonus. I love pastels because they are perfect for laying and can work for any occasion. The Brogues are just gorgeous, I mean they are a perfect statement piece whether you wear them to work or play. Plus let’s be honest, with the rain and snow we all need some fashionable flats. Plus… just check out that coat….

Then it was time to style up Stephanie. The thing about this girl is her skin is just amazing! I mean when Beyoncé sang flawless, she should have just put Stephanie’s face right there. She pulls off bright colours amazingly and as it’s an autumn and winter style challenge I know she will radiate the Pinks & Berries trend. The coat is a gorgeous deep pink colour and the textured jumper will keep Stephanie warm and on trend. The berry hue also matches the boots just to add a little edge. As Stephanie is a classy lady, I added some pretty statement earrings just to add a little bit of bling. Once again… look at the coat!

I have to say that Debenhams are seriously ready for the change in season and their trends are pretty on point. Just by looking at the above my wardrobe could do with a cold weather overhaul. I have my eye on all of these items… they are just too good to miss.

What’s your Autumn Style? Could you work with these two?
