I used to love kimonos. They’re the first things that took me out of my comfort zone and helped me start to accept my curves. They’re bright, light and pretty on trend… all the time! You can wear them in summer and feel covered up but cool. (Very hard to do!) Then I stopped wearing them again. I guess I felt like they were still too restrictive. Like they showed that I was covering up. Which is silly really because I shouldn’t even care what people think. But now, after having 2 babies within 2 years. Well let’s just say my self-confidence is lacking ever so slightly, so I’ve gone back to my old friends. But guess what? I LOVE it. Kimonos are so different now. They literally come in every colour, cut and fabric. There are simple ones, details ones and absolutely beautiful ones. This gorgeous green number from Fashion Nova Curve is one of my current favourites.

Bringing The Kimono Back

Fashion Nova Curve Review

It’s interesting, isn’t it? Taking Instagram by storm seems to be the way that brands make an impact these days. Forget fancy advertising or big billboards (although these are obviously still around). Instagram can bring you everything you need customer wise. One great example of this is Fashion Nova and in particular Fashion Nova Curve. They’ve taken the social world by storm, oozing sex appeal and style. It’s hard not to miss them.

Fashion Nova Curve in the UK - Pretty Big Butterflies

Plus Size UK blogger - Pretty Big Butterflies

From a plus size girls perspective – I love that they really cater for curves. Checking right now they have almost 5000 plus size items in stock. Ranging up to a 3x which is classified as a UK 28 – 30. In terms of the sizing, I’d say it’s on the small side. I tried the 3X and reckon it’s more of a 24 – 26. So if you can, size up! But they really do offer fast fashion at really cheap prices. They’re based in Los Angeles but when you browse through the site, you don’t feel like you’re shopping from thousands of miles away. There’s a universal feel about the whole curve collection. Plus size babes unite! What’s even better is if you get free UK shipping when you spend over $75 and trust me… you will spend over $75… easy! When I received my parcel I didn’t have to pay customs, but obviously, I can’t confirm if you will. I think if your order comes to less than £135 than you don’t pay customs but that’s down to the UK, not Fashion Nova.

Do you pay customs on Fashion Nova Curve

This Kimono from Fashion Nova curve is just divine. It’s a gorgeous colour and I haven’t yet found it in the UK. So it’s kind of nice knowing you’ve got something a little different. Of course, a Kimono is a kimono but the cut stops it being overbearing and it’s a perfect cover up for summer days or even on the beach. Plus you know I love a floral print. This is definitely me! It’s one of those where you can match it up with a cami in almost any colour and any kind of jeans. It’s one of those tops that will pretty much last season after season, year after year. It won’t go out of fashion. That’s what makes it such a bargain!
