Last week I was invited along to have a chat with Liz McClarnon about her gorgeous new swimwear range at FashionWorld. Held in a swanky hotel suite at 45 Park Lane overlooking the rather sunny looking Hyde Park, it was a relaxed environment where the gorgeous swimwear pieces were on display around the suite. From the funky Flamingo bikini set to the retro cherry swim dress. The whole range is incredibly wearable, likeable AND is available in sizes 12-34. It’s so refreshing to have the same fun and fashionable swimwear available to so many for a change! Plus Size Swimwear doesn’t have to be boring and standard sizing swimwear doesn’t have to be thoughtless!
I have to say, the key about this collaboration is that the swimwear really is for everyone. It seems Liz and Fashionworld have catered for as many people as possible. Whether you have a small bust, a large bust, tummy conscious or bum aware, there is something to make everyone feel fabulous. I have always struggled to find swimwear which makes me feel comfortable but fashionable! I want trendy prints and bright colours, not just a plain black tankini which looks more like badly fitting underwear! Well, the Liz McClarnon collection has lots of colour but not over the top and little features to make you as comfortable as possible, this is the swimwear I need for Summer.
So, I was lucky enough to get some time with Liz herself. I had a good old chat with her and I’m not going to fib, trying to cut down this video was so tricky. It’s new for me to do video rather than just do a written blog post. So I’m pleased with the outcome and I think Liz comes across as lovely as she was in person. The type of woman I could sit and have a laugh with over some prosecco and garlic bread!
