I did say yesterday that it’s an amazing time for plus size fashion at the moment. My diary has been fully booked over the past week and this is the next amazing write up of a fantastic evening.
Last week Simply Be and Anna Scholz organised an evening of champagne high tea to discover the new SS14 collections. It was quite exciting as I had seen a couple of sneak peaks of the new collection from Anna Scholz and I couldn’t wait to see it in it’s full glory.
The most amazing thing about the evening was that it was in Anna’s actual offices. I got to see where the magic happens and meet the lovely team. I got to try on some of the gorgeous range and one of the highlights was definitely getting semi naked with some other bloggers! I felt like I was behind the scenes with Anna Scholz and it was a great evening.

I got to mean the wonderful lady herself who was radiant in red. She encouraged us to try everything on and they had everything in every size! I saw one person try a dress on and I was converted. I raided the rail and had so much fun.
The one thing that stood out about the spring & summer Anna Scholz line has to be the prints. Bright colours are the main attraction but the eye catching prints are about to explode. Hooray for plus size fashion. This is what we have been craving. Bright colours, in your face prints and lush quality fabrics. Perfect. I also loved the butterfly prints that were quite apparent in some of the pieces. Nothing over the top but some beautiful prints. Of course I immediately spot the butterflies!

I was lucky enough to try some of the dresses on and believe me when I say it was a struggle to take them off again. They were ridiculously comfortable and fitted perfect. I wore a size 22 and could have possibly sized down to a 20. The Anna Scholz range for Simply Be is available in sizes 14-32.

This underwear set is definitely on my ‘to buy’ list… in fact I think it’s on my birthday list!
We were of course treated to champagne, cakes and petite pretty finger food. It was great to put a face to the name of some bloggers that I hadn’t before as well as catching up with familiar faces. I’ve already got my eye on a couple of Anna Scholz pieces. The question is which one to get first!
