Last week I was luckily invited along to have a nosy at the Simply Be Autumn Winter 2014 preview collection. Held in the ever chic No 5 Cavendish Square, I went along with the gorgeous Gemma. We were treated to eyebrow threading, amazing hot chocolate and delicious canapes and we probably stayed far too long chatting to everyone. You should know by now that Simply Be are one of my FAVOURITE brands and over the last 18 months they have really pushed the boundaries and given plus size fashion an edge. Hurray! Well, I’m glad to say that the sneak peak I had of their AW14 collection didn’t disappoint. Here’s a little sneak peak for you too!
The main features I liked from the AW14 preview were the statement co-ordinate pieces. Matching sets which could be reworked in handfuls of outfits. I liked how the check print is still around although not as in your face as the tartan trend and there are pops of bright colours to being the season to life. (Lots of hot pink too which I love!)
The textures are gorgeous for this season, metallic threads coming through and some lovely scuba fabric. The pieces are clearly made to be versatile and to layer up easily in the cooler weather.
