I watched from the corner of the room, as my team leader walked to her desk with that magical box in her hand. It was square and white, glowing like an angel in her palms. I new what it was from the moment she stepped out of the lift. It was like a diet coke break advert, except the hunky man and his Pepsi had been replaced with a glowing redhead (I am a fellow red head and am proud!) carrying a TOPSHOP parcel!
Shamelessly I recognised the dimensions of the box, the smooth white plastic and the perfect square shape. I watched as she opened the bag and took them out. The most GORGEOUS pair of sandals I have seen in a long time. I immediately had visions of strolling through a Californian beach, sunglasses on, palm trees in the distance and my sandals catching all the attention of every passer by. I was then RUDELY interrupted by a phone call and snapped back into the reality that I was at work and the sandals were not mine.
Bummer.
But my lovely team leader did allow me to grace the presence of her sandals and feet to take a couple of snaps to share with the world. You have to give it to her, the grapefruit pink nail polish just works in conjunction with the aqua green and they compliment each other 100%.
