Last week I was lucky enough to be invited to a rather special bloggers dinner. In celebration of an exciting collaboration between one of my fave brands Simply Be and Look magazine! The dinner was held in Balthazar a gorgeous central London restaurant in the hear of theater land and it was a night filled with good company, good food and good clothes! The private dining room was incredible. Dark wood and dim lights really added an amazing touch of class to the room. It was beautiful.

The food was amazing. I felt so spoilt with wine on tap and a gorgeous candlelit ambiance it was relaxed but had laughter in the air. Here is a sneaky peak of my menu. The crab was out of this world and the beef… well… to say my mouth was watering is an understatement.

This is what I wore on the night. It was a pretty mild evening evening it there were a few drops of rain. I opted for a casual but pretty outfit which I could get away with anywhere. I’ll do an outfit of the day post in a couple of days giving you the low down on the outfit.

The collaboration between Simply Be & Look magazine is pretty special. It’s a capsule collection made to be reworked and restyled in as many ways as you can think of. In my opinion, it’s nice to have a mainstream fashion and lifestyle magazine embracing plus size fashion and celebrating it in the best way possible. By creating their own range! Enough said.
I was able to to see and feel most of the range. It’s nice to be up close and personal as sometimes an image on a computer screen just doesn’t do it justice. So, I thought I would give you a mini breakdown of my favourite pieces.

Look Printed Bomber Jacket – Size 12-26 – I adore the floral print of this and it fits in with the Sports Lux trend for 2014. It’s lightweight and felt lovely against the skin. There are also matching trousers. Although I would have preferred the trousers to be tapered at the bottom to keep them more fitting with the sports lux idea. It’s a lovely two piece. But this jacket on it’s own makes a gorgeous statement.
Look Biker Jacket – This jacket had me from the moment I saw it. I love biker jackets and this just looks timeless. It’s the tweed appeal!
Look Floral Print Jumpsuit – Well hello fashion statement! This is what I want. Bright prints in fashionable pieces. I have my eyes on this and it’s going to fun giving this a trip out in the sunshine. It’s such an easy piece. Literally pop on, add some jewellery and fashion is yours.
Look Mesh Panel Jersey Top – Seeing this top in person made a massive difference. The quality is superb and it’s such a fresh and versatile item. It’s quite high necked so a statement necklace would add a feminine touch. It’s a simple but fashionable top.
