It’s October which means crispy leaves and darker evenings are upon us, but did you know October is also National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, a topic which is close to my heart. To celebrate this month and to really emphasise how you can and should love your bust, Simply Be have collaborated with two fabulous bloggers – Georgina from Fuller Figure Fuller Bust & Leyah Shanks to give us some real hints and tips in this article on loving your bust!
Now there is a lot to be be said for wearing the right size bra and it can be pretty daunting to get your bosom out in front of a stranger! Plus, there seems to be a million types of bras doing a thousand different things, I mean how is a woman supposed to know how to look after her boobs when there seems to be so much information. What I love about Georgina and Leyah is that they understand how difficult it can be to feel comfortable in a bra, and no matter what you’re bust size, it’s all about feeling comfortable. The advise they give in their videos is almost like a FAQ page for the questions you feel to silly to ask. This is just one of the videos they have done and I love it!
Well the right bra not only supports and protects your chest, but it can boost your confidence when you wear the right fit. Plus, there’s a lot to be said for just wearing beautiful underwear to perk you’re day up. Now I REALLY know the difference between bras (thanks to the third video in the Simply Be post) I thought I’d share some of my favourite bras for you – for reference I have a large back size (I’m a 40 – which can be frustrating as some brands don’t cater for this) but Simply Be have some gorgeous bras right now which are great for me.
So embrace you’re bust this month especially and every month thereafter. Show it love, look after it, enjoy it and of course make sure you’re wearing the right bra.
