You may have seen my ‘Outside my comfort zone’ post the other day where I wore a really gorgeous mint polka dot shirt from New Look. Well, what I didn’t tell you is that I had a little New Look Haul going on and I also wanted to show you this lovely fondant pink floral mesh top. It’s also from the New Look Inspire range of tops and I am so impressed with how they are trying to work the trends into their plus size range that I thought I would do a little outfit of the day. New Look Inspire Range – Fab tops for Spring & Summer
I wanted this burn-out top for the same reason I wanted the mint shirt. It’s pretty and perfect for the warmer weather. The pink is definitely in with the pastel trend and it looked like a simple top that could be worn so many ways. I added a statement necklace that I got from a swap shop party a few weeks ago. I knew it was a good swap and just needed a top like this to match it perfectly.
Simple burn out T-Shirt
The one thing I am going to be battling throughout summer is wearing short sleeved tops. It’s something I am going to overcome this year and this is a great start. The sleeves are not capped and are actually quite long compared to the general T shirt style. The print also grabs the attention and is a lovely design. The burn out style makes the top sheer, so I’ve popped on a vest top underneath. It’s quite a structured top to be honest and it doesn’t cling too much.
Say Cheese
It’s a little big on the bust area, so if you are blessed with boobage I reckon this would be good for you and generally speaking it’s another wardrobe essential for me this summer. A plus size pastel T-shirt that’s so easy to wear.
This basic top is available in sizes 18 to 28 and it has a little stretch to it.
