There’s something to be said for a get up and go outfit. One of those ensembles that I know I can put on, look on trend, feel great, be weather resistant and STILL mean business. That’s take a lot, but this outfit of the day has it. It’s been one of my faves for the past month and it’s still going strong. The main pieces are from Evans and I have to say the quality is pretty good! (sorry the pics are a little blurry!)
The long length shirt has two splits down the side and is a great length on me. I’m 5″6 and this comes below my knee. I pop on a vest top and leggings underneath although I want to wear thick tights with it too hen I find some decent ones! I like that this shirt feels like a dress but has an edge to it, it’s great for the office as it’s technically a shirt but I feel quite powerful when I wear it. The shirt itself is a reasonable fit. I had to size up to a 28, because it’s a a chiffon type material there is zero stretch. Around the bust area it’s pretty generous and there’s no gapping at all. I also love the metallic silver buttons as they add a little sharpness to the shirt.
Moving on to the luxe boots. I think these are my first pair of biker style boots that are pretty heavy and solid. I like them because of that exact reason. They are 100% leather and super sturdy so great for the cold wet weather, they are also amazingly comfortable as they have extra padding. These are extra wide fit and I can wear them for hours over leggings or even jeans. They really feel like the kind of boots that will keep me going for months and months.
I could wear this again and again (well, I have been so the proof is in the pudding!) It just goes to show that plus size fashion can have an edge, be comfortable and everyday outfits don’t’ have to be bland!
