My beautiful niece has just turned 8 and in celebration of this I’m going to be a fabulous Aunty and I’m taking her to see One Direction in a couple of weeks at the massive Wembley Stadium. I am so excited (Not because of One Direction – although I know they are pretty cool) but just spending the day with her and making sure she has a day to remember is going to be wonderful. I literally want her to have a day to remember. (I will also be taking ear plugs… possibly!)
The problem that arises with this is what to wear. I want to look like the cool aunty but I know I’m going to need to stand my ground against the thousands of screaming girls. So I went on a little pre-concert window shopping and I have come up with this. Do you think this is a ‘Cool Aunty, Concert Ready, Girl Guard’ type outfit? I want it to be comfortable but fashionable… nothing new there then!

I think that’s a perfect choice. Simple, comfortable but trendy. I reckon I’ll get the cool Aunty award for that.
