The sun is out and the new spring and summer homeware ranges are out in store. Am I the only one that feels almost obliged to go and see what pretty things are looking in the homeware sections of stores and supermarkets? I just can’t help it. Especially as I’ve finally started turning my flat into a home and not just a place to stay! I’ve recently bought new wall art, a rug and gorgeous artificial flowers for my windows. So I’m on the look out for fun, sunny things to make my home look as happy as I feel when I’m in it! First stop is House of Fraser. Lots and lots of pretty summer things to give me some inspiration, from unique cushions  to unique vases.

Just having one of the cushions would brighten up my front room. I’ve decided that once a month I’m going to pick myself up something for the house just because I love it. It’s my sanctuary and no matter how big or small, it will make me  feel like summer is finally here and everything deserves a little refresh now and again.
