Last week I was invited to my first Christmas party of 2015 and trust me, it’s set the bar pretty high for this years festivities! The Boohoo Christmas party, held at the Skyloft in the epic Millbank Tower was filled with festive delights and I had such a good time I stayed until the end! We were able to make DIY Christmas jumpers (which I didn’t get around to doing purely because there was so much to fit in to the evening!). The live band karaoke kept us wanting to dance on the floor and the dubsmash booth. Well, you’ll see more of that shortly!
I aptly wore a Boohoo dress for the night and I have to say it’s one of the bet dresses I own. It’s a simple black velvet swing dress (you can find it here). It’s so simple but feels lovely on. The long sleeves kept me warm during the chilly evening and it’s pretty adorable too! I have to say, Boohoo have been a little better on their plus sizing lately and I haven’t had to send anything back for a little while! hooray! They all have some great party dresses in at the moment if you’re heading to your own Christmas party over the next couple of months.
The best part of the evening was catching up with some lovely blogger babes. Old friends and new ones. It always makes me laugh at these events when you realise just how many faces you recognise but hardly get to see. It was a fun setting to have a glass of wine (or two) eat some amazing christmas food…. YES there were roast beef and Brussel sprout canopies going around. I swear!
I went to the party with the beautiful Lucie and I’m not sure what it is but I have photo after photo of Danie taking selfies. It’s now a running joke, but at least you get to see the first christmas tree of the season situated nicely behind her!
If you want to see something really funny – check out the Boohoo Dubsmash that Lucie and I did. It’s funny because we couldn’t hear the music because of the Boohoo Karaoke so we just went a little crazy. It’s ok… you can laugh…
