You can’t miss the change in weather and that that same thing happens every year. You rummage through your cupboards and wardrobes looking you’re the coats and jackets from last winter. But they never seem to be as nice as last year! It’s like they have lost their appeal, so there’s always room for another coat. That’s what I tell myself anyway!
I have been wearing my black, PU collared coat from Simply Be for a few weeks now and I’m chuffed that people really like it. But I’m wearing it EVERYWHERE so I had a look at what else they had to offer and they kindly & swiftly sent me this Aztec parka coat/jacket.
Dressed Up For A Night Out!
I’m a major fan of Aztec print and an even bigger fan of the Autumn / Winter Oxblood shade of red and this jacket has bot. If you’re a UK resident you’ll know the rain likes to whip us more often than not so the fact it has a hood and is lightweight is perfect for rain or shine.
Hugs curves but super flattering.
It has a drawstring middle which makes the jacket really flattering, you can give yourself a waist but it means the coat has plenty of space. Hence why I wanted to show it with all my layering! The sleeves are long enough so they don’t expose my wrists (I hate jackets or coats that are made with stupidly short sleeves!). It a nice crisp material and I think it’s a handy coat to have for work or play.
Generous fitting jacket for lots of cosy layering – top left is not the most flattering facial expression but the jacket looks good!
This coat is great for ANY shape. If you have curves it will accentuate them, if you are more straight bodied, it will give you curves! It’s just a versatile style and I love it!
With the party season coming up I wanted to show how you can make a casual jacket work with a little black dress, OR with Winter here, how you can layer up to keep snuggly warm without having to have a huge, shapeless coat. (Remember layering is what keeps you warm!).
Flattering & Fashionable plus size coat.
This jacket is so versatile and I wanted to show that you can have a plus size coat and still be trendy. This jacket will last through Autumn, Layer it up through winter and keep it for those Spring showers.The zip up and press stud fastening really adds to the parka appeal and this is a definitely must have coat plus size or not!
(By the way my boots are also from simply be! It’s so hard to find side calf longer length boots so these rock!)
