I have had this red ASOS dress in my wardrobe for longer then I care to remember. I love that it is bright, fitted but a flattering shape. It’s a litter shorter than I would like if I am honest and it puffs out a little at the bottom. Other than that, I thought it was about time I gave it some air! I know this is ‘Outfit of the day’ – but I decided to wear this for an evening out. It’s still allowed!
I opted for simple black suede heels from Primark, a bargain for £8.00 or there about. But I need some jewellery to add a bit of character to it and balance out the black shoes. (Not forgetting something to draw the attention away from my knees!). I thought I was already heading along the lines of looking like a Lady Bug, so I thought I would follow the theme.

I had a snoop and swooped on an eye catching black Perspex bumble bee necklace. It really did attract my attention and I couldn’t resist the urge so I grabbed it and ran! (Not before paying obviously). With free P&P to the UK, it arrived within a couple of days. It was literally a little piece of treasure in my post box. Wrapped flatteringly in pretty paper I was even more surprised to find I had been given a free bead bracelet! (Thanks Amy!).
The Perspex bee is on a quality silver chain and doesn’t feel cheap or vulgar. It really feels like a unique one off. One of those necklaces that people ask about. I thought it worked well to give a bit of edge to my dress.
