I love my dresses in the late summer and early autumn. They are so easy to pop on and go whether it’s for work, rest or play. I do find though that I prefer a bit of print. When I saw this New Look Inspire tunic dress I knew it had to be mine. I love the bright aztec print and the wild berry hue against the navy blue just works for me. I did size up and while it’s to short for me to wear as a dress (I’m 5″6) it’s perfect as a tunic top and one that doesn’t make me feel like I’m a sack of potatoes. I still would have preferred it slightly longer but you can’t have it all! The arms are slightly snug so definitely glad I sized up but the tummy and bust area is perfect. The soft fabric sits well and while it doesn’t have any stretch it has a really good subtle structure to it.

New Look Inspire

I did have some black jeggings also from New Look Inspire but they were too small, so, while they are gorgeous, if you decide to grab some skinny jeans my advice would be to size up. Usually I’m always the same size in their skinny jeans but amazingly these jeggings were a bit more structured. Not necessarily a bad thing.

Aztec Dress For Autumn

Back to the dress, I can’t wait to layer it up in the cooler weather, jeggings or even really thick woolen tights, boots and a snug cardy. It has some key colours in for Autumn such as the berry red and purples, cream and navy. Roll on the cold now!
