Apparently, no-one wants to be mutton dressed as lamb. Who even created that saying? You can be whatever you want to be! It’s true that you don’t just stop caring what you look like once you hit middle age. (Could someone define what middle age is please? I feel like at 32 I’m creeping towards it)
Sometimes when I’m at events or out and about, I feel like I’m blagging being there. Surrounded by 20-year-olds who all seem to be shocked when I say how old I am. Obviously, I’ll take that compliment. It must mean my skins doing alright with its natural glow and all that jazz. I think one of the keys to ageing gracefully (or ungracefully depending on how you see it) is staying stylish and wearing what you love — here’s why there’s no age limit when it comes to being fashionable.
You can pick and choose your trends
This is a crucial part of being fashionable at any age, but especially important when you want to look stylish as an older person. Being fashionable doesn’t mean you have to slavishly follow every hot new trend; instead, adapt choice new pieces into your existing wardrobe to create a look that’s recognisably you, but still with a contemporary edge.
