I haven’t done an ‘Outside My Comfort Zone Challenge’ in a little why but I haven’t forgotten! It’s played a big part in my own self confidence journey so I’m not going to stop participating. The challenge this time was chosen by the lovely Becca and she set the theme as Summer Fun Day.

Unfortunately I live in Central London where I don’t have village fun days or school fayres. The closest I get is a boot sale on a farm about a 30 minute drive away. But I did find this outfit that I haven’t managed to post yet and it’s what I wore to the Simply Be blogger dinner a few weeks back. I think it’s a Summer evening type of outfit and I would swap the boots for some wedges if it’s warm. I think it’s great for an evening BBQ or drinks in a beer garden after work.
It’s the first steps of Summer which is always the hardest. Getting my winter loving legs out of my tights and into the sun! I never feel prepared but I thought, who cares!? I love this tropical print skirt which was a bargain £5.00 from Primark and I managed to find a size 20 which fits well. It has a stretchy waistband so amazingly it fitted. It’s an annoying this to iron though but that’s what comes with a £5 skirt!
The black scoop neck top is from Dorothy Perkins, a wardrobe staple for me. The PU biker jacket is perfect for cooler evenings as it’s not that heavy and the gold heeled boots are so eye catching I love them. Both the jacket and heels are from Simply Be. The heels really to catch the sun so it’s quite nice to wear them of an evening. I just need someone to have a BBQ and my outfit is sorted!
