I broke a cardinal rule of fashion blogging, well, one that I imagine exists but I don’t think it’s in stone anywhere (although it could be for all I know!). I wore the same outfit to two different blogger event type things. I knew I shouldnt.. but I LOVE the outfit so much. It’s like a power suit. I feel good in it, it gets compliments and it’s comfortable. So yes, forgive me for I have sinned. (I don’t give a damn really!)
This outfit is currently my turn to fave. It’s an old cobalt blue Dorothy Perkins skater style dress. It’s a really bright blue and is dead in the middle of being smart casual. I match it with my Simply Be PU jacket which I’m sure is sewn to me right now and I can wear it with ankle boots, brogues or flats.
I also opted to match it with a gorgeous statement necklace from Rings and Tings who are my jewellery heros right now. I really like the fact that the blues match and the yellow literally shouts ‘look at me!’. It’s funny how a simple necklace like this can completely bring an outfit to life with hardly any effort at all! I think they were a match made in heaven.
The heavy biker jacket matched with the girly floral type necklace is a great combination for anyone. A simple style statement that can be created pretty quickly. I couldn’t tell you why I was laughing in the above picture and doing some rather random hand movement, but it’s quite funny so thought I’d share it with you!
