It’s time for the 25th Outside my comfort zone challenge and this theme was chosen by Nikki over at NattyNikki. She chose the theme accessories and how you can change up an outfit using statement jewellery, scarfs or bags!
This wasn’t a hard task for me as I have tonnes of accessories. necklaces, earrings, bags, belts the list is endless but as it’s an outside my comfort zone challenge I thought I would step out of my ‘norm’ and I opted for a scarf. I love scarfs but generally for outer wear, wrapping it around my neck adds a bit of colour to a winter coat. But this time I thought I would add a scarf to bring and outfit to life and make it work for me. It’s not how I would usually wear a scarf so I thought I would give it a try.
The longline pink top and Houndstooth ankle trousers are both from Simply Be and while I love the outfit it doesn’t float my boat by itself. It makes me look a bit top heavy. So by adding this beautiful bright scarf from Yours Clothing it brings the whole thing together and acts as a great diversion from any lumps and bumps!
Adding a big gold pendant focuses the idea and I love my neon bracelet which ties in with the colour on the scarf. The photos don’t really do it justice so apologies but it’s definitely an outfit that is outside of my comfort zone!
