#OMCZ 22 Work Wear Inspiration

It’s time for another Outside My Comfort Zone challenge and this time is was my turn to choose! I decided on Work Wear Inspiration. I work in an office 9-5 every day and sometimes the stress of what to wear drives me nuts! Just because I’m plus size does not mean I want to wear black work trousers and a black top every day!  So I was hoping the other amazing ladies involved could hook me up with some new work wear outfit ideas and push me to try something new.

I decided to wear this shirt and leggings combo today. I mentioned it before but wearing it to work was a different story but it got lots of positive comments which was really nice.

I love the over-sized Bird print shirt from Simply Be. Its quite long so I could wear it a like a mini shirt dress over leggings and my patent knee just under the knee length boots. I can’t even describe how much I love this shirt. It has a soft silk like feel to it and fits like a classic shirt. I added a gold statement necklace from Primark under the collar for a little eye catcher and I was good to go.

It’s an effortless outfit but I looked in the mirror and thought hey! I like this outfit! It’s quite quirky for work but they can’t complain. Its a shirt after all!

I’m looking for a skater skirt to tuck the shirt into and wear with ankle boots for another work look. Any ideas on decent skater skirts welcome. 🙂

This did take me outside of my comfort zone. The bold bird print is really eye catching and the overall  outfit was something I haven’t really worn before, especially to work but I seriously love it. I want Simply Be to make this shirt in every colour and print possible!

Oh and I added some pink lip stain from Revlon to top it off!
