I have to say that a good fitting peplum top can be an asset to any wardrobe. The shape and cut is great for curves and I love that is gives me an automatic hour glass shape. without even trying! I had to share my outfit of the day with you featuring a gorgeous tropical print peplum top from Pink Clove.
I wore this outfit to work on one of the few sunny days we had recently. The first time I’ve had my arms and my legs out at the same time for ages. I think it was a little shocking for my work colleagues but that was part of the fun! I decided to match the peplum top with a black pencil skirt (primark) keeping it simple. The top is really colourful and bright so I stood out enough.
Sometimes when I get up in the morning I don’t want to think about what I am going to wear. I just want a get up and go outfit without losing out on style or fashion. Being plus size that can sometimes be difficult. Just to get a simple but effective top. Believe me you’d be surprised. Dipped hems and baggy shapes are more the norm so having something like this peplum top is fabulous. I also looks pretty darn good with some black skinny jeans. It’s available in sizes 16-28 .
In terms of fit, I have a size 22 and it’s true to size and if anything a little bit generous. There is lots of give and stretch to the top so it will sit fine if you are larger in the bust area. It has a soft feel to the material and is super comfortable. I’ve had peplum tops before where the hem was too high and it was so uncomfortable. Not this one. Pink Clove has done well.
