A couple of weeks ago I went along with one of my girlies to the Hoss Intropia and Birchbox subscriber event in Sloane Square. It was a celebration of Hoss Intropias approach to feminism and beauty. It was a lovely evening weather wise actually and when we arrived we were greeted by the lovely gorgeous Birchbox ladies Mimi and Rachel and handed champagne and cake pops. Always a good start right?
The lovely ladies from Hoss Intropia were also on hand to talk about the beautiful ranges that they have and to give us a little more detail into their items. I have to say that the jewellery is amazing. So unique and full of detail. The brooches were especially magnificent with hand embroidery of sequins and beads, the finish was beautiful and eye catching for sure. The fly brooch below is almost out of this world, the colours and the detail are just incredible. If this was on your dress you’d definitely get some comments.
Something else which really caught my eye was the Solidarity Scarf designed by blogger Sasha at Liberty London Girl. It’s a luxurious silk scarf with a lace effect and Sasha apparently came up with the idea after a piece of lace material which her Grandma used to have. It’s a really lovely item with some substance behind it. 10% of the sale price also goes to Oxfam which is a great idea.
Hoss Intropia does go up to a size 18 which is rare for the quite high end market and while I wouldn’t be able to wear all their clothes there were some over-sized styles and larger fits which I would be able to wear so I wasn’t excluded to just the gorgeous jewellery and accessories. I love how through out the store they put outfits together for inspiration and ideas, pairing up jewellery, bags and accessories. They have some stunning dresses and the pattern and detail that go into the designs are definitely distinctive.
Attendees were also treated to a complimentary manicure from Prettly who are a professional mobile beauty service and a little goody bag as they left. I have to say my manicure lasted almost a full week and the ladies were lovely to chat too considering they were under such demand.

There was also a competition for all attendees and it was to just instagram or tweet a picture from the event. I actually shared the picture of the fly brooches because of how unique they were and I only went and won! To say I was over the moon last week when my prize arrived is an over statement. I won this absolutely stunning striped bovine leather maxi bag and it is now my friend for life.
Another great subscriber event from Birchbox. Birchbox have lots of tricks up their sleeve, not only do they have one of the best beauty boxes around but the customer service and added extras are so worth it. Thanks again Birchbox and Hoss Intropia for a great evening and my amazing bag!
