You may have seen the jump suit post I did a little while ago when I gave the Look range for Simply Be a go. It was a style which I hadn’t tried before but I actually quite likes it. In fact I like it so much I grabbed myself another one! I had my eye on this Print jersey jumpsuit from Simply Be the moment I saw it in the ‘New in’ section of the website. (Yes I spend my time window shopping, I can’t help it!). I even went as far as tweeting a picture of it and not surprisingly it had some other fans too.
I went for a little walk in the sun today and decided with Mr C that we would take some outfit posts outside. I am pretty jealous of people who nip out in the comfort of their own garden to take posts. Unfortunately I don’t have that luxury so along with trying to get some decent pictures I also get random looks, stares and the occasional comment. Just jealous of my jumpsuit clearly!
I love that this jumpsuit is a jersey material. Like a stretchy t shirt. For me, it means ultimate comfort and no camel toe! (Yep, something I always make a point of addressing). The best way I can describe this jumpsuit is like you’re wearing leggings and a t shirt. That’s how comfortable it is and because it has a an elasticated back waistband and not front it doesn’t gather in that unflattering way like it’s too small. Also, the front pockets are not those big baggy ones that make your tummy look bigger, these are nice neat pockets which are actually put in the perfect position. There is something about pockets that I love. Maybe it’s a comfort thing.
As for the print. Well, one thing is for sure, you won’t get lost in a crowd! But that’s what summer is about. Being bright and chilled out. I’m a fan of floral prints so this rocks my boat. Even though it is a bright item, there is something about it that screams work with me! Adding pick lip stain and a big gold statement necklace from Ring and Tings just fitted really.
Now as for the shoes. these champagne flecked sandals also from Simply Be are SO comfortable. It must be the chunky heel. They are high, so perfect for dressing the outfit up for an evening, but because of how chunky the heels are, you could easily wear them in the day. The ankle strap is also great for chunky ankles like mine where most ankle straps are a no-go. These sandals feel nice and sturdy, are perfect for my wide feet but I almost want to wolf whistle looking at them! Perfect combination with the jump suit.
This jumpsuit is available in sizes 12-26 and I would say it is true to size. I have a size 22 which can either be too big up top or too small on the bottom, but this fitted perfect. I’d quite happily wear this jumpsuit in the cooler months too. Worn under a fluffy cardigan or boyfriend jumper it would look awesome. Value for money is always a good thing right?
What do you think of the jumpsuit and sandals? How would you style the jumpsuit?
