I am really looking forward to Saturday. I am taking my lovely mum on a little outing to out nearest Taking Shape store for a personal style session. It will be nice to get my mum to try on different outfits and to experiment a little in a friendly environment. She can fit it to (most) high street stores clothing but I think the intimidation can be a little of putting so I am REALLY excited. Maybe even more than her. It gives me a chance to try on their new dresses that have just been launched and have a search for a new summer dress.
I thought I would do a little research before hand and have a peak at some of the dresses I could possibly have a little whirl in on Saturday and these are my faves!
1 – Tropica Maxi Dress – Tropical print is everywhere this spring and summer. It’s basically floral but with a little more punch. I like the length of this dress and the bright pop of colour. The beaded necklace area makes it great for day or night.
2. Pompeii Dress – I love the simple but eye catching design of the dress and the sleeves are short but not capped which is a favourite of mine. I also like monochrome because it can be worn for any occasion.
3. Honor Dress – Casual dresses are my weekend saviours. I think this would look great with some converse (trainers) and a denim shirt or jacket.
4. Prism Dress- Elbow length sleeves are so for me and I like the slice of colour in this dress. It looks like the same shape as the Pompeii so it will be interesting to try them both.
Those are my favourite Spring dresses from Taking Shape. They are available in sizes 14 – 26 and I think they are fashionable for any age or size. I can’t wait to do a little dressing up on Saturday and of course I shall be reporting back next week!
