I have two pre-schoolers and I appreciate how overwhelming it can be when it comes to choosing Christmas gifts. There’s so many tick boxes that go through my head such as will it be fun, educational, age suitable, do they already have it? Will someone else get it for them? The list goes on! I think it’s even harder when you’re buying for someone elses children. It can feel like you’re looking for a needle in a haystack sometimes. But never fear, I am here! I’ve got a list of the best Christ mas gifts for pre-schoolers that will go down a right treat on Christmas day.

I have yet to meet a little one that doesn’t like Peppa Pig. It’s almost a failsafe option in my book. When the cress (or whatever salad leaf you get) starts to grow, it brings the toy to an entirely different level! The pot comes with seeds, a Peppa character and a couple of other small accessories. You’ll need to supply the small amount of soil yourself. It’s a great present, the seeds are super easy and if I can make the cress grow, anyone can. It might even help your little ones finally have a taste of the green stuff!

Slightly smaller than the set above, this toy will still provide lots of creative fun. your little one can colour in their own ice cream van which doubles up as a bag to pop everything back into and carry it around with them. (Great for not losing the pens or stickers). Instead of kittens, this set includes an Ice Cream cow which can all be coloured in and washed off again which means your little one can play with it again and again. Really great value for money!
