A few weeks ago I attended an evening with navabi – the global leader in premium plus size fashion and I was so intrigued. I’ve always felt like Navabi has had a bit of a spoke screen surrounding them, which isn’t necessarily a bad thing, so for me it was nice to get to know them a little better. I’ll be telling you more about Navabi and their new collection later on in the week but I had to share this with you now. . it’s from the new Navabi collection and it’s really focused on lovely fabrics that are light and comfortable but really keep you warm. Exactly the kind of coat for me.
This coat feels really nice on, it’s that kind of material where I can’t stop stroking myself. You know what I mean! The wool mix includes mohair which gives it a super soft and slightly fluffy texture but the material doesn’t leave you covered in red fabric so that ‘s a plus. It’s fully lined and fits perfectly. It’s available in sizes 16-30. I’m wearing a size 50 which is a 22/24 and it’s great sizing, if anything a little generous.
I have to acknowledge the fact that this coat is £374.90 which is blowing the budget when it comes to outerwear, HOWEVER, I’ve realised that sometimes in life you need to invest in pieces which will last year after year, never go out of fashion and make you feel amazing. Plus, most importantly, fit well and keep you warm! This coat ticks all the above and I mean it fully meets the brief. I love this coat and I just need the temperature to drop slightly so I can put it on and never take it off.
