I work in an office that used to be quite relaxed. We were lucky and really, we could wear whatever we wanted. But slowly, jeans and Converse trainers slowly became the norm and management decided it was time we fixed up and looked sharp!
I now have to be smart / casual. With a little less of the casual. So I have gone head first into dresses! I love them. So this is todays outfit of the day!
Its a Blue & white tea dress with a large daisy floral print. It’s a little short but I love it. I added a black waist belt with gold studs for a little detail and to emphasize my waist. Sticking on a smart black blazer kept it great for work.
I love the colours and that dresses like this are SO easy to put on when you have an early start. I can style it up or down and I love wearing this dress with my brogues or my black patent boots… it’s so versatile.
This dress is from Primark it just fits but their sizing baffles me at times. It’s a size 20 but I can try on some dresses in Primark and it just doesn’t go over my bust! (Hence a bust side zip on my last tea dress). My blazer is from Dorothy Perkins which I wear so much it really needs replacing. I love my bag biscuit brown! It’s from Maries Boutique and is perfect for work.
