It’s been a while since I took part in the Outside My Comfort Zone Challenge, at one point things got a bit hectic but no way am I abandoning ship! This time round I got to chose the theme and I a desperate for some pastels for Spring & Summer I posed this challenge to my fellow bloggers –
“Pastels are here for Spring & Summer but I’d love some inspiration from you lovely ladies. I want to see you flourish in fondant colours. Pinks, Mints, Sky Blues… the list goes on. I don’t want to hide away this Summer so this will be good practice!”
I have found a couple of pastel gems recently and this is one shirt I have been lusting after for weeks!
New Look Inspire
This pretty polka dot pastel shirt from the New Look Inspire range is just gorgeous. It’s a mouthwatering mint colour and perfect for the sunshine when it finally gets here.
The shirt itself has no stretch but I think the sizing is spot on. I usually have a problem with the tops of my arms but this shirt is fine. It’s a slightly longer length which is great as it covers my bum. The shirt is quite sheer so I just popped a vest top underneath.
Outside My Comfort Zone Blogger Challenge
The colour and all over print is definitely noticeable but so pretty. I’m so glad that I finally have this shirt. It completely lived up to my expectations and is a perfect addition to my pastel wardrobe takeover.
The perfectly matching mint ballet pumps are also from New Look at a BARGAIN £7.99 and the black skinny jeans are ALSO from New Look Inspire and these are another bargain at £14.99 (size 18-28). Finally, the necklace I’m wearing is from Rings & Tings – blog post coming soon on some of their fab jewellery.
