Over the past month I have been trialing the 3-LURONICS Face Cream by Face D. It is an Italian face cream which claims to immediately reduce the signs of wrinkles, tightens pores and brightens skin.
Now I will be honest, I am 27 and I do worry about the signs of ageing. I think I have been blessed with quite good skin but I can see the slight signs of laughter lines and because I frown at work (it’s a stressful job!) I have noticed 1 or 2 small lines cropping up on my brow. I literally want to just pat it out so it doesn’t stay! So I am now at the age where I really need to look after my skin to prevent early signs of aging.
We all know the basics, drinking water, using SPF, staying out the sun etc etc, but if there is a cream which is going to give me a little help, hell I’m down for that!
With the Face D cream, I decided to give it an extra test by asking my mum to use it as well, I basically squeezed out half the 30ml tube into a separate pot and we both used it every day for 4 weeks.
The product itself is a light cream, but when applied It feels like a light gel serum over the face. It dries super quick, but as it does you can almost feel it tightening the face. It’s a great sensation. Imagine a face mask drying, it has that sort of mild feel to it. This is how the cream works, by using molecular weights to smooth out the skin. Quite clever really. 🙂
My Results
I thought Face D was pretty good if I am honest. It comes across as an almost prescribed cream where in fact it’s just a great addition to my beauty regime. It is a BRILLIANT face primer before make up. It makes the skin instantly feel soft and silky. You know when it feels so good you keep stroking your face? Well yeah, that’s been me most mornings.
I’ve also found that although I don’t have any deep or a large amount of wrinkles or lines, it did soften my face and after 4 weeks of use my ‘frown’ line as I call it doesn’t seem so harsh. It doesn’t stay there once my frown has gone. Happy Days!

As for my lovely Mum, she thought I was just being nice and sharing my ‘posh’ cream with her. I told her I wanted to try it for 4 weeks to decide if it works. So I went undercover and sent her a message asking what she thought. Just to quote her PERFECTLY I thought I would just copy the messages here!
Baring in mind, my mum has used various lotions and potions in the past so she knows what she is talking about and dare I say it has more mature skin then me (general 50 something year old skin).
Overall, there is definitely an instant hydrating effect and it does make my skin glow. Like I said, this is probably one of the best face creams I have used where it is a dream to apply make-up after using it. It keeps my skin feeling silky for hours, even after I have layered on the various powders and what not. It definitely made my skin look less tired over time, it’s perfect for the coming colder weather and for £24.99 it is worthy of the price.
