Most people believe in lucky numbers. When surveyed, we found that more than 70% of people asked believed the numbers 13, 7, and 23 are lucky numbers and would include these numbers in lotto picks. But, is that the case?When investigated, the number 13 came up in lottery wins in UK history fewer times than most numbers. This would negate that theory. The number 23 does show up on the list of numbers that comes up often in lottery wins, and 7 falls somewhere in the middle. This does not do a lot for the lucky number theory. But who knows? You can still try them. You could get lucky. - Dice
- This is easy enough. First roll = first number. Second roll = second number.
- Words
- Use the numbers of the alphabet (A-1, B-2, C-3) Now you can spell your lucky numbers. What number does your favorite color equal? Maybe it is red. R-18, E-5, D-4, so the number for red is 27.
- Repeats
- Do you have a favorite song? It probably has repeat words. How many times do they say “girl” or “yeah”? Did you know Justin Bieber sings the word baby 56 times in his song “Baby”? This is a fun way to pick your numbers.
- Look for repeats in your favorite poems
- How many times do they show the same commercial when you watch your favorite show?
- Receipt numbers
- Every time you stop at a fast-food window, a mini-mart, or a market, you get a receipt. You get a receipt each time. Stick it in your pocket and when you have six, take the last two (or first two) digits from the ticket numbers to create your number. Use the dates on the tickets to keep them in order.

Act of kindness
We have all heard of paying it forward. Times are tough and a little act of kindness can really help someone right now.
