And by ‘it’, we mean everything! If your interior doors are looking a little sad, why not freshen them up with a quick sanding and a couple of coats of paint? Or perhaps you’ve got an old fridge in need of repair? Why not get the parts and then give your fridge a makeover? Not all types of paint are suitable for appliances, so make sure you look for an appliance-safe and hard-wearing paint brand. Your home and appliances will look as good as new!

Replacing old tiles in your home, whether that be the kitchen or the bathroom takes time and money, so don’t! Did you know that you can now buy vinyl stickers that stick directly on top of your current tiles? So if you’ve been thinking about how you’d love to change the colour scheme in your bathroom but can’t, now you can! They’re fairly cheap to buy online, but you can buy vinyl stickers at places like B&Q for a reasonable price too.
Grout pen works wonders
Over time, no matter how clean you keep your home, the grout in your home can become faded, discoloured, and even look dirty! Regrouting is a tedious task but luckily, that can be avoided too (provided your grout is still intact) by using a grout pen. Doing exactly what it sounds like, you simply run the ‘pen’ over your grout and it comes up good as new! Why not spice things up and go for a different coloured grout? Glitter grout is currently trending, so consider doing something a little bit different to make your tiles pop. you can buy different coloured grout pens on eBay for a really good price, and it takes a matter of minutes to transform your tiles!
Upcycle
Finally, you may feel that your home is looking a little tired because your furniture is worn, but that doesn’t mean it needs to be replaced! Upcycling furniture is a fantastic way of giving it a new lease of life, and adding a pop of colour into your home. You could change handles, give furniture a fresh coat of paint, add new legs onto a chair, or reupholster a beaten ottoman – the possibilities are endless! The best bit? Upcycling can be very cheap and your furniture has turned into a one of a kind piece!
