Cameo is two going on 20. He thinks he is bigger, stronger and tougher than what he actually is. It’s quite funny because when we do the nursery run he is adamant that he wants to carry his own bag. In theory, this is great! Saves me doing it. But actually, it’s almost as big as he is and I know he is so stubborn even if it was uncomfortable he would still want to carry it!
We’ve got a few overnight stays coming up and I was chuffed when Trunki reached out to collaborate. Their cute little ride on cases, perfectly children sized, are brilliant for little ones. Cameo adores his. He rides it like a car, pushes it along and occasionally attempts to pick it up. (Why do they do these things!)
I love that it’s really bright, durable and lightweight. There’s plenty of space to put Cameo’s clothes for a few nights and things like baby wipes etc. It’s a must-have addition to family getaways and it’s almost like bringing a toy with us.
When we first looked at getting a Trunki, I was surprised that you could actually design it yourself! So I sat Cameo down next to me and we had a play of the colours and designs. It’s so nice that the Trunki we have now was completely customised by Cameo. It adds a whole load of sentiment and personality to the case. There are over one billion combinations so you’re literally making one of a kind!
It does look a bit like a family pet (it’s currently living in our front room) but one thing’s for sure, it’s going to be VERY useful when we get married in a couple of weeks. Cameo can feel like he has something of his own when he isn’t at home that night and I can feel totally organised by packing everything early. Hopefully, it’s that easy anyway!
It’s a sturdy little case but also comes with a 5-year guarantee. This is great because I know with my boys they really are a little bit rough with their toys. Not in a bad way… just in a lot of energy way!
We can’t wait to design one for Marlo too and have another member of the family. (We mean the Trunki… not another baby!) they’re practical and fun, you can’t get more from a product than that! You also get a cute little Trunk certificate when it arrives which makes it feel like you really do own this little cute case. It’s a lovely thing to have and beats your average hand luggage size case any day.
