Do you ever feel like screen time is the only thing that kids actually enjoy? I do! But then I remember that actually, something a little crafty that we can both do together suddenly ignites something in them & they love it. But it has to be easy, quickly fulfilling and obviously fun. They have to be able to do most of it themselves too without too much adult intervention. Something that ticks all of these boxes is the Make, Stick & Play Kikkerland At My House set.
It’s a box filled with a cardboard house that clips together, 6 cardboard characters which can stand up & over 100 stickers to decorate them all with! Your little ones can put pictures on the walls, flowers on the shelves & tables in the front room. It’s great fun and Stickers are always a winner!
I love that the task is super easy, they just have to decorate a house and some characters but the thought process Marlo put into his was great! He wanted books on the shelves, and the clock in a particular room & he wanted to make sure we had the dog character ready to be decorated too.
Once your little one has finished stickering they can role play with the house which is always cute and it can all go back in the box ready to play with or continue stickering on another day.
It’s a great travel toy to keep kids occupied and a great fun learning toy for a Christmas or birthday gift. It’s something for a rainy day that any parent will love. Mainly because it actually keeps little ones entertained with minimal intervention. I think I had to help with one or 2 tricky stickers and that was it! Marlo loved it!
