Baby C is five months next week. I can’t believe how time has flown. It’s crazy because it seems like years ago since I was pregnant but only a few days since he couldn’t even focus his little eyes. He is growing so well, and pretty on track with everything in terms of baby life. He is a small but long baby (get’s it from his dad, not from me that’s for sure!) and is feeding really well. We’re formula feeding because we were poorly after birth and it was the best option at the time. Anyway, we’re now at a point where we can see weaning looming in the very near future. He isn’t quite ready yet but we’re doing a bit of reading on when, where, what and how. The usual new mummy things! I generally have no idea about weaning so I need to do the research. We’re starting with the easy stuff (I mean practical!) like this gorgeous baby bib!

Cheeky Rascals Make My Day Baby Bib Review

Obviously, all work and no play makes a boring day. So in our beginners wearing kit so far we’ve added this super cute Make My Day Baby Bib from Cheeky Rascals. I can’t explain how unbelievably cute Baby C looks in it and it’s an amazing little bib ready for when he is dropping more down him than going in his mouth! (We can’t wait…. send help!)

Cheeky Rascals Make My Day Baby Bib Review

We’ve chosen the Make My Day Baby Bib as one of the things in our beginners weaning set for so many reasons. Yes it’s cute, fun and colourful which means Baby C will love it, but it’s also incredibly practical. Made of 100% food-grade BPA free silicone, it’s safe for babies. It’s also stain resistant, dishwasher safe and has a built-in crumb catcher. The crumb catcher is going to be worth it’s weight in gold I’m sure!

Baby Bib that catches food - pretty big butterflies

The bib is really soft and bendy even though it’s looks really robust and is has an adjustable fastening at the back. Because it’s bendy, doing the fastening with one hand is manageable. Yep I know that’s an important factor! The fastening can be adjusted so it can fit up to a 3 year old, so you’ll get your moneys worth from these bibs. What’s really hand about this though is that it can be folded with a baby spoon or fork on the inside so it’s great for travelling or popping in your changing bag. I love things like that. The easier the better when it comes to being a new parent!

We have the Sherif design, but the Make My Day Baby Bib comes in 14 different styles so you can choose your favourite dressing up character. I mean your child’s favourite of course. (ahem). They are all lovely and bright and instantly put a smile on everyone’s face. We can’t wait to get going properly with ours. The tuxedo design in next on mine and Mr C’s list. Then we can have a perfect little gentleman at the dinner table with a load of mush around his face, but not the floor if this bib has anything to do with it!
