There’s something about home made things that are always that little bit more special. It’s the time and effort that goes in to the pieces, as well as knowing it’s somewhat of a one off piece! I was so excited when I saw these hand crocheted dungarees from Lizzie Vintage. Her Etsy shop is full of hand made baby items that are just adorable. From dungarees to baby comforters, she does it all. Everything can be made to measure too, I sent Lizzie Baby C’s measurements and she made to order these gorgeous brown dungarees. I was worried about the measurements because I’m new to this whole baby thing and keeping him still was a little hard! But, based on what arrived the dungarees are a perfect it with a little room for growth too!
The acrylic yarn that Lizzie Vintage uses is soft and stretchy, it’s caused no irritation to Baby C’s skin which if obviously a relief. They are easy to pop on and great for layering up. Then there’s the little bear hat. Well, it’s cuter than cute don’t you think? It arrived lovingly packaged and the delivery was super quick. This is a lovely idea for newborn gifts or baby showers too. Knowing something is personalized (you can choose size, colour, design etc.) makes is that little bit more special. What’s even better is that the lady behind Lizzie Vintage is incredibly lovely. She kept me updated on the making of the dungarees and checked in with me afterwards to make sure I was happy. So not only are they amazingly made, but also the customer service is fab too!
