My little ones have loved magazines from the first time they walked into a supermarket! At first, I thought they were a waste of money, but it didn’t take me long to figure out that kids’ magazines are pretty brilliant. This Fun To Learn Hey Duggee magazine is an amazing example of just how great magazines can be. This interactive magazine is aimed at little one’s ages 3-5 and if they like Hey Duggee, well, this is about to bring everything to life for them!

Each issue is about making learning fun, because let’s be honest, sometimes it can feel as though I’m getting blood out of a stone if I sit down with Cameo to do some letter writing or number learning. He loves to learn, but I don’t think I’m a very good teacher haha! But this Hey Duggee magazine has brilliant golden nuggets of learning hidden in every one of its 36 pages but to Cameo, it’s all just fun and games. It actually supports the Early Years Curriculum so the activities really agree great for ages 3-5. There are all sorts of things to help develop children’s reading, writing, maths, design and really help pull those imagination strings. Yes, the fact there’s a fab toy and a tonne of stickers included is the icing on the cake.

This particular magazine is called the Treasure Hunt Set. It’s great for the summer holidays because if it’s warm and sunny you can delve into the activates and bring them to life by heading on your own treasure hunt just like the Squirrels or if it’s a bit of a soggy day then you can create the recipes from the magazine, sit down and do the writing activities or play the games they’ve created.  At the end of the magazine, they earn their treasure hunt badge and certificate, both of which are included. It’s the perfect school holiday magazine!

There’s lots to keep little ones entertained in this magazine and it’s simple enough so they don’t get bored. Also, sometimes even as parents, we need a little help and I love that there’s a signpost in this magazine that encourages family time together or where there’s an activity that you can do with your little one. This Hey Duggee magazine makes it fun to learn and is a great alternative to screen time.

Fun To Learn Hey Duggee Magazine is available from leading supermarkets and all good newsagents from 21st July 2021. Also available to pre-order online or on subscription (UK & Eire Only).
