It takes something special to become a toddler’s best friend. But Trudi has managed to do just that. I don’t know whether it’s the fact they’re a heritage, hand made brand and their toys are made of premium quality plush so feel super soft or just the fact that the toys they make are super cute! Either way, Marlo is smitten, and so am I!
We were sent the Trudi Puppet Monkey and it’s become Maro’s best buddy. It’s an amazing gift, because of the great quality and it has brilliant features such as a long tail and a little tuft of hair. We also received a super soft and cute Panda which is just a loveable, but Marlo and the monkey just can’t be separated right now. It’s a fab plush that will last ages because of how well made it is, it’s already taken its fair share of pulls and throws already, but that’s to be expected from a toddler, right?
The soft toys are such good quality that they can definitely be passed down to the boy’s little cousin who’d love this just as much as Marlo does. Thinking about hand me downs, and reusing things, is always lovely when you’re thinking about kids toys. It is good to know that you can really get your money worth but also we’re not just piling things into landfill. They’re also fireproof and made from non-toxic raw materials.
When we opened the box, Marlo went straight for the monkey and now he has to know where it is at all times. He’s even tried to feed it breakfast cereal (a little wipe down with a cloth got rid of the milk haha). Because it’s a puppet we’ve also been able to have some fun imaginative play with both boys, developing their imagination and role-play skills. Cameo has even started doing his own puppet shows which is pretty epic!
