When it comes to skincare Bioderma is one I’ve known and loved for quite some time. I’m a big fan of their Sensibio Micellar water which I used when I went through a really sensitive skin period. So when I saw that they were introducing their ABCDerm range for little ones, of course, I wanted to give them a try!

I’m not one for swapping and changing my little one’s skincare routine. Cameo has eczema which has greatly improved on his body overall but his legs are still pretty bad. Plus, with Marlo still being so little, I like to keep their bathtime and skincare routines really simple.

ABCDerma range from Bioderma

We tried most of the ABCDerm range from Bioderma and we love it all, to be honest. The ABCDerm range from Bioderma is an extra safe and extra gentle hygiene range for babies. It’s a really simple but effective range. No bells or whistles when it comes to packaging, fragrance etc. It’s just really simple, expert skin care for little ones. One of the best products we used was Huile Douceur, A relaxing and nourishing massage and/or bath oil. We use it as a bath oil and it’s made a difference to both the boy’s skin. It’s a great way of combating the effects of hard water on your child’s skin. It strengthens the skin barrier thanks to nourishing vegetable oils rich in essential fatty acids, apricot kernel oil and sunflower oil. Just pop a couple of drops into the bath and that’s it! It doesn’t create any bubbles or anything like that. Just a really soft and soothing bath.

ABCDerma Huile Douceur,

The second product which has been brilliant for Marlo our 9-month-old is the ABCDerm Péri-oral. The is the only product I’ve found that helps with the rashes he gets from dribbling. It quickly relieves redness thanks to a complex of active ingredients including enoxolone and β-sitosterol and repairs the weakened epidermis thanks to restructuring and moisturising agents such as allantoin.

It also helps to protect the skin from things like rubbing from dummies or the cold weather etc. We only applied this for a few days on Marlo’s chin and neck and there was a really massive improvement. We’ve continued to use it just once or twice a day and so far the redness hasn’t returned, even though he is dribbling the same! Pretty incredible! You only need a really tiny amount too! This is such a winning product and I wish I had it when Cameo was a baby.

ABCDerm Moussant.

Last but not least, our third favourite is ABCDerm Moussant. A daily gentle soap-free cleansing gel for babies. Sometimes you just need a trustworthy, everyday product and this is perfect. It basically a baby shower gel that can be used as a baby shampoo too. It’s soap free so doesn’t sting eye (thank goodness!) and is suitable for even the most delicate skin.

The entire range has so far been brilliant on both my boys’ skin and I feel like I’m being a good parent by using a range that’s had so much thought and research into babies skincare – I know you know what I mean!
