I don’t know about you but my little ones always seem so full of energy. They’re currently 3 and 4 years old and both don’t have an off switch! Thankfully, we have a garden for them to run around in and we’ve worked hard to find things that they’ll enjoy time and time again and things that will help their bursts of energy. One of the best things we’ve ever had is currently taking pride of place in the garden it’s the amazing Smoby Megagliss 2 in 1 large kid slide.

You know when somethings a winner in my house? When it’s dinner time but the boys don’t want to finish playing yet! Well, this Smoby Megagliss 2 in 1 large kids slide does just that. It’s TOTALLY won the boys over! It’s a huge slide when fully assembled (360cm long and 186cm high – taller than me!) & it can be separated to just be a smaller slide for little beans. So it looks super exciting to the little ones.

It’s really easy to assemble. My husband isn’t the best at DIY (although he really tries!) so I thought it might take a while. But he pretty much did it single-handedly in less than an hour! He didn’t even make a mistake! It really is simple to put together, with clear instructions and nothing else needed other than a 2p coin. I think things like that can be daunting at first (especially if you’ve had a tricky piece of equipment in the past) but I feel like Smoby understand that things have to be simple but safe, that’s why I love the brand. The slide is really sturdy too with no wobbling, even on grass, which is great. It’s also light enough to move around when you need to cut the grass or make a bit more space. It also has ergonomic handles to help little fingers to grip and the slide is treated to be UV resistant so the colours remain bright. Plus, it has a smooth gradient at the bottom so little ones slide off smoothly instead of whizzing along and grazing themselves. It’s going to be around for a long time!

The boys love it! They’ve been on it almost every day since we’ve built it. They slide down it, but they also roll balls and cars down it too. It’s currently the highlight of the garden. You can also attach a hose to make it an EPIC water slide! Also, as it’s so tall, there’s a long ladder to climb up. I’m sure they’re averaging at about 40 climbs up those stairs a day and they zooming down the slide, so I can assure you this is brilliant for getting their energy out!
