We have gone through so many stages with our boys and their bath times. So many! It goes up and down. On one day they love it and the next day they don’t. We’ll have some days when they prefer showers and others where they can’t stand having water on their faces. We have days when Marlo refuses to get out of the bath. We have days when Cameo refuses to have any shampoo.
Me and the husband can’t keep up with the way they constantly change their mind about what they want. Anyone else? haha
All we want is for them to enjoy their bath time together, get clean, and get out, so we can put them to bed! I was thrilled to get the chance to try out something that could get them a lot more in the mood for baths – Funatic Foam. We got both a green apple and pink berry version of the foam, and couldn’t be happier that it’s come into or lives – it’s added a bit of excitement to bath time.
Funatic Foam is this soft, rich-lathering cleanser which is suitable for children age 3 and upwards. It’s a spray and gives the room a gorgeous scent – with both of the ones we used – from the moment you first use it.
As both of our little ones (age 3 and 19 months) have had eczema in the past, we have to be very careful about what we put on their skin. Thankfully this is very mild and cleans them well, without irritating their skin in any way. It comes in a recyclable metal canister and has a range of 15 centimetres up to 3 metres – so roll on the summer paddling pools!
Since we’ve had it, it’s made them a lot more keen to go in the bath (although it hasn’t exactly helped to encourage Marlo to get out the bath when we ask him to!) Our boys love watching us write out things on the bathroom wall, on the tap, and they especially love when we cover their legs it and they splash all of the foam off in the water. Cameo is strong enough to spray it on the bath or tiles himself which he loves. It’s a very welcome addition to our bath and we are sure to have lots of fun with it from now on.
