It’s been a year and a half since we moved to Nottingham. That means Cameo has had access to a lovely garden and we’ve learnt how hard gardening actually is! Living in London forever, with no outdoor space to look after meant I totally underestimated the upkeep of a garden. Even a simple one. Who knew grass grew so quick? We didn’t! So we’ve had to get our heads around everything from lawnmowers to weed killer. It’s almost like a whole new language, but we’re trying. Slowly.
It’s amazing to see the boys playing in the garden now. I can see how Cameo has progressed on his slide and climbing frames. He is so much more independent than a year ago. Now he copies us with things like gardening, it was great when this Casdon Flymo arrived for us to review!
It’s a mini size lawnmower. It’s a Toy replica of the Flymo Lawn Mower and it really is just like the real thing! It clicks when it’s on the move but doesn’t cut any grass. It has a foldable handle for easy storage and it’s really light so Cameo can take it in and out of the garden by himself. Marlo loves it too… even if it’s just to try and chew the handle. He has started to walk now so even he wants to have a go at holding the handle. The Casdon Flymo Toy has a recommended age of 3 just to be aware.
It really is a ‘little helper’ toy. Cameo thinks he really is helping with the grass (I wish he was!) and he calls it his mower. It’s pretty durable and the plastic is wipeable too. It’s been out in the rain a bit this week and is still going strong. It doesn’t require batteries (woohoo) and really is an unpack and go kind of toy! Just what we love.
It’s a really cute and affordable toy. One of those toys that would be a great gift because it isn’t an annoying toy at all, keeps the kids entertained and is really affordable. It also means Cameo will be in good practise for when he can finally mow the garden (and we get to sunbath instead!)
