Spring has well and truly spring and it’s time for a spring clean! I don’t have much time at the moment but I REALLY need to have a massive declutter, move around and clean up. We’ve lived here for around 6 months now so it’s time I got on top of things, all though it’s hard with a 3 month old baby, it has to be done. Obviously, things change once you’ve moved in somewhere and we’ve realised what we do and don’t need, plus you have different needs when a baby come along! The one are of our home I really want to sort out is the kitchen, if only I could double its size! As that’s not happening any time soon, I’ve been looking ad products and ways of making it a lovely space that works for us. Here’s my spring kitchen wish list.

First up, this Panasonic combination microwave is pretty special. It’s regular size but has much more cooking space inside and is a grill and oven in one. Having that quick and easy way to make tasty but healthy food for the family is vital with a new baby around. I wish I had time to cook a full roast dinner but that’s rare these days. Upgrading our microwave will make a difference. The same goes with the washing machine. We need one that has a decent load but has a quick spin. Our current washing machine feels like it’s about to take off!

Then there’s the small things that make you enjoy your kitchen. This Emma Bridgewater wallflower cutlery set is so pretty. I’m not sure I’d let guest use them! (obviously I would!) but how nice to open your draw and see them shining at you. The same goes for the copper cookware. Now I wouldn’t mind them on the side waiting to be washed up! Finally the quirky Kilner Glass jars with bunting detail are super cute. They would be gorgeous for a summer BBQ or party, to be honest, I’d quite happily drink my tea out of them on a daily basis!

The big thing for me at the moment is making more space. The washing machine and microwave upgrades are then next on the list. The rest is just pretty things that I can only justify treating myself too once my spring clean has FINALLY happened. Because it will. One day!
