I do love TK MAXX, it’s one of those places where you go in looking for a bag and leave with a whole new bedroom from the home department. I can’t help it! Plus, everything is up to 60% less than the RRP, so yeah, you can’t blame a girl for going a little overboard. With Mothers Day coming up really quickly, TK MAXX is the perfect place to grab some pampering accessories for the important woman in your life or update her nest with some gorgeous accessories. Now I won’t lie, TK MAXX has a LOT of good stuff and it can be super hard to choose from such a selection. So I’ve done some of the hard work for you and found some gorgeous pieces from the home department that will brighten up anyones day, plus it’s nice to change up the usual bottle of perfume for something a little different right?
So I know I have 3 cushions in this gift list. But seriously, I’d have all 3 on one sofa. Quirky and fun is the way to go with cushions and it’s actually a nice little keepsake. Who doesn’t love resting their head on a comfy cushion that feels great AND looks fabulous? Exactly. These pillows range between £10 and £20, so a bargain for a gift that will last a long time. Staying in the same lane is the luxurious rose tassel throw. This can be put on the sofa, bed, floor or even the wall depending on your taste. I can imagine it feels amazing and can be used to snuggle up in the winter and to lay out on the grass in the summer. Multifunctional gifts at their BEST!
Now, you might think of a teapot or jog and yawn. What kind of Mother’s Day gift is THAT? But, HELLO! Have you seen these two beauties? The large Queens white and pink hear ceramic jug is a unique way of saying I love you with a gorgeous print and the mint dotted teapot. Well. It’s just so pretty. Then you have slogan plaques which I always think are lovely gifts and at TK Maxx you’re bound to find one with a message that suits you and they are mega cheap. This one in particular is a bargain at £5.99. Another unique gift is this shell trinket decorative piece. With it’s opulent pearl like mosaic finish it really is gorgeous and not something you’d find often. Perfect for holding jewellery amongst a million other things, this would be lovely wrapped up in delicate tissue paper for Mother’s Day.
Finally, the Yankee Candle. I tend to go to TK MAXX if I’m looking for large candles as they are always cheaper than anywhere else. Yankee Candle is a fave and would always go down well with my mum. But on my recent trip, amongst some other goodies, I found these Apothecary candles which can usually be found for between £8.00 and £11.00 each, I picked this up for around £5.00 each from TX MAXX and I was pretty happy with myself. My mum will love the unique fragrances and they look incredible fashionable.
