We’ve got two little ones who love playing with toys and are at the point where their imaginations are running wild. It’s lovely to see them playing together nicely (most of the time) and to see them just keeping themselves entertained. But with Christmas on the horizon, how do you start planning? Is it ever too early to start planning? What do you even get pre-school kids for Christmas these days? There’s just so many questions and so much to think about. So here are my top tips for getting organised for Christmas, especially as a parent.

List it
The first thing to do it to make a list of everyone you need to buy presents for. List how many presents you’re going to get them and the budget for each person. It’s so easy to forget someone and also super easy to buy too much! So make it easy for yourself and write a list. It’s a must do.
Age Specific
If you really don’t know what to get the people in your life, especially little ones, look on a website that has gifts for specific ages or roles in your life (like mums, dads, nephews etc) Lot’s of places do this and it can make looking for gifts so much easier. You just have to scroll until you see something that catches your eye and is in your budget. Much easier than looking for a needle in a haystack.
Wrap it up
Sometimes you could have the smallest gift but it’s wrapped up to look good enough for royalty, plus never forget, it’s the thought that counts! So take time to get your wrapping right. If that’s not for you, you can pay someone to do it, or somewhere like Wicked Uncle offers to gift wrap your toys at checkout, so that’s a huge weight off your mind.
Start early or very late
You might not like this one, but to make Christmas gifting as easy as possible, you need to start early. A gift a month can make a huge difference. You can look for bargains and offers throughout the year, store everything a way and then when the big day comes, you’re basically already sorted. No stress! But if money is tight, you can wait until the last minute. Christmas Eve is basically the new boxing day. Most sales start on Christmas Eve because they know most people are already sorted. So if you’re willing to risk it, you could save a small fortune.
I wasn’t to help you get a tiny bit prepared for Christmas! I’ve giving one of you lovely readers the chance to win a gift up to the value of £25 from Wicked Uncle. Just enter via the Rafflecopter entry below. Competition ends 5th October 2020 at 11.59pm. UK only. Good Luck!
