A couple of weeks ago my parents moved house and they now have a garden. I can’t even tell you how happy I am. A bit of personal space in London is pretty special to be honest, even more special now we have Baby C. It needs a bit of work but that just means that Father’s Day is super easy this year. I can just get my dad some awesome gardening gifts. I’m not sure just how green fingered he is yet, we’ll have to see, but I can definitely put him on the right path. I know my mum has plans for her own veggie patch and I’ll be turning it into my secret chill out space. So adding all that together means we’ve got some work to do! So I’ve had a look around and these are my top 5 Father’s Day gifts for the green fingered, or at least those that say they like gardening.
First up is this absolutely lovely National Trust double gift set with rigger gloves. Not only is it packaged in a gorgeous box but by buying these you’re also supporting the National Trust’s vital conservation work. double winning! I added this Aqua cottage birdhouse because it’s such a quirky little thing to have in the garden. Also a great option if your dad loves the garden but not getting his hands dirty! Both of these are from BuyDirect4U, a great website for all things garden and accessories.
I love these DAD metal plant pots made out of buckets. Great if the main man in your life has a smaller garden or likes things a little tidy. I’d love these on my window frame. Next up is a mini BBQ. I chose a mini one because it doesn’t matter what size garden you have you can get a barbie going! I can’t wait to get this out in the warm weather and have family lunches. A little dream come true.
Finally, this garden stool with tool bag is such a good idea! If my dad’s going to be pottering around the garden, this versatile gift is exactly what he needs!
I’ve decided on the national trust gift set and the small BBQ for my dad this year, along with some traditional socks and chocolate. What have you treated your dad too?
