Let’s just say it as it is. I’m a great cook but my life is so busy I always forget to take the meat out of the freezer. Which is why the microwave is an essential part of our kitchen. I’m also going to admit that I heat my tea up in the microwave. Come on mums, you know it’s true! With two little ones under two, if I get to drink a hot cup of tea I know somethings wrong! So yes, as I said, a microwave is a must have!
I was given the Russell Hobbs RHM2362S 23 Litre Microwave to review and it’s been a bit of a legend if I’m honest. We’ve all been poorly this week which has meant we’ve been eating lots of soups and porridge. The fact the temperature has dropped too means we’ll be using the microwave to heat things like this up A LOT over the next few months!
It’s a 23 litre microwave oven which is ideal for us (2 adults, 2 kids under 2) and it fits perfectly on the side in our kitchen. It isn’t overbearing and I’m a big fan of the large mirror like door. It does need a wipe over everytime I use it but it looks nice –so it’s worth it! It’s one of those microwaves that will fit into any kitchen aesthetic too, which is always handy if you’re buying it for someone else.
- It has a defrost setting which is a MUST in my household. We can have chicken tonight even if I forget to defrost it!
- The glass turntable is dishwasher safe. Winning! I feel like this is about to my make my life so much easier already.
- It’s a standard 800W so can cook things pretty fast and it even comes with a handy little recipe book for inspiration.
- Child safety lock option
- It also has Pre-programmed auto cook menus – so things like popcorn can be done at the push of a button
It’s a really simple and easy to use microwave, perfect for small families who like to keep things safe and simple.
