2020 has been a wild ride, hasn’t it? I don’t know about you, but I’ve started Christmas super early this year because I am totally ready for some festive cheer. I’ve turned my house into Santa’s grotto (I don’t care that it’s November!) the tree is up, I’m well on track for my Christmas present list and all I need now is the turkey. 2020 might have been a washout, but Christmas this year is going to be the best yet. I’m making sure of it!

But with life being a little bit different now, we can’t just walk around the shops for hours on end having a browse at all the Christmas gifts. So, what’s the plan? Well, don’t you worry your pretty little head. Because Marks & Spencer are the online shopping destination for all your Christmas presents and décor needs! (That includes self-gifting too because is it even Christmas if you don’t treat yourself?)

I’ve been working with M&S to show you some of my favourite gifts and Christmas decorations that they have available to get your festive spirit inflow. There’s so much to choose from and when those parcels turned up on my doorstep, it was like Christmas had literally been delivered. Just to point out, considering how much pressure retailers are under right now to get online purchases out the door and delivered on time, the M&S elves did a great job on my next day delivery order. Always handy to know if you’ve forgotten something or need a last-minute gift!

Now here’s the exciting bit, and where I make your life 100 times easier! Read on for my TOP Marks & Spencer Christmas Gifts for 2020.

For Kids

I focused on making Christmas extra special for my little ones this year because they are absolutely buzzing about it all. I absolutely ADORE these Alphabet Christmas Sacks. They’re only £7.50 each, really large (I could hide the boys inside them!) and are made from a lovely jute fabric so feels really festive and we’ll be using them to store toys in for the rest of the year. These are definitely my top buys for this year and I’m so happy I nabbed them before they sell out. Is it me or does anything with an initial on sell out really quickly? Grab these while you can!

Recently I’ve realised I’m a real touchy, feely person. I love fabrics and you know when something is great quality by how it feels! These kids rocket pyjamas are gorgeously soft. They’re stretchy fleece velour so feel so snuggly against the skin and they’re available in sizes 1-7 years. Also, just so you know, they wash up well too! You can’t go wrong with PJs at Christmas.

It wouldn’t be Christmas if toys weren’t involved! I’m totally here for educational toys and wooden toys are great because they last SO long. (Great for hand me downs to little siblings or cousins). This Alphabet Wooden Tray Jigsaw is a great gift for ages 3+. No batteries required (hooray) and it includes language sheets in English, French, Italian and German. It’s bright, colourful and fun, you can’t go wrong with this.

For the Home

Christmas has well and truly arrived in my house, but there’s nothing like those finishing touches to really put a smile on everyone’s face. Homeware gifts are great for others, or yourself (talking from experience haha). This 20 hour Apple & spice Light Up Candle is the apple of my eye at the moment. It’s just beautiful. When you light the wick it triggers the LED lights around the candle’s glass inner jar to light up, creating the most beautiful glow. There’s also added sparkles for extra shimmer and it makes the room smell like freshly baked apple pie. It’s a candle and a Christmas decoration in one, plus it’s under £10. I’m going to grab a couple more of these before they sell out!

If you want to go super special this year, this 12ft Lit Eucalyptus Garland is a must-have! It’s pretty huge and comes ready lit AND with batteries. You literally just put it where you want to create your Christmas wonderland and switch it on! It comes decorated with pinecones and is actually hand made so each one is unique. It really does bring something super special and I feel like I’ve finally found the finishing touch I’ve been looking for.

My beloved Jumbo Christmas Tree Mug is a great gift if you’re on a budget. If you’re looking for a secret Santa gift for the boss, this one will score you extra points too! It’s a huge, chunky stone cup that’s made for hot chocolate on Christmas Eve (or Monday morning coffee). It’ll be used all year round and for £5 it’s a great budget-friendly Christmas gift.

For Her… (or you!)

This section is about gifting the special woman in your life, or gifting yourself because you know, self-love is the best love, so they say! I’m all about treating yourself this year, so see this as the sign you need to get your own Christmas present! I’d highly recommend this Fleece Heart Print Pyjama Set. They’re available to a size 2XL which size 24/26 and are beautiful, I wouldn’t expect anything else but quality from Marks & Spencer and this is exactly what I got.  They’re the epitome of cosy and I’ll be happy to wear these every day throughout winter.

If you’re after a luxury bargain, the Best of L’Occitane gift set (worth £47 but M&S are selling it for £34) is perfect. It’s a collection of the best products from L’Occitane including items from their protecting Shea Butter range and invigorating and refreshing verbena range. This would be a lovely gift to open on Christmas morning or treat yourself as it’s a bargain. It would be rude not to.

I’m dreaming of a white Christmas this year, but I know that means it has to be super cold to get that snow here! But I’m ready to stay warm and cosy thanks to these Faux Fur Slipper Boots. These M&S slippers have well and truly had an upgrade and will knock any of your usual slipper gifts off the slopes. Available in three colours, vegan-friendly and fluffy fabric on the inside and the outside. The perfect Christmas gift, right?

We’ve been on lockdown leading up to Christmas so if you know someone (or yourself) who enjoys a little Christmas tipple and has missed out on their usual sociable gin, The Connoisseur Gin Tasting Experience Gift is the one gift you need. Plus, it’s only £15 which I think is a brilliant price! It contains 4 different flavoured 5cl gin bottles which are displayed in a regal style box. This gift can also be sent with a personal message, and obvs, you have to be over 18 for this one.

Let’s Wrap it up

It’s time to wrap it up now, and before I let you zoom over to Marks and Spencer and totally ace your Christmas Gifting, don’t forget to pick up some brilliant Christmas gift wrap. I know it’s what’s on the inside that counts, but there are some exceptions, Christmas presents are one of them! M&S have a great selection this year and you can get sets that include ribbons and tags, so all the hard work is done for you. They also have matching gift bags and wrapping paper, because I appreciate not having to wrap things. I’m a gift bag person all the way. Pop it in and you’re done!

Marks and Spencer have really done well this year with offering an array of gifts for different people, styles and budgets. But everything has the same brilliant quality as you’d expect. I’m well and truly in the Christmas spirit, now it’s time for me to head to the M&S food section and get a Collection Brie en Croûte. If you haven’t seen it, it’s basically all cheese lover’s dreams come true.

Whatever you treat yourself and others to this year, one thing is for sure, we all deserve a bloomin’ good Christmas. So, from my family to yours. Merry Christmas!
